Washing Instructions
Cotton Txapela & Sombrero
Machine Wash and Dryer Acceptable
Cool or Hot water with or without soap.
Preferably lay or hang flat to dry.
Will shrink to a snug fit if washed in warm water, but will stretch back out after heavy use.
Wool Txapela & Sombrero
Hand Wash Preferred
Cool to warm water with or without soap.
Lay or hang flat to dry.
Will significantly shrink if washed in a machine, and not stretch back out to original shape.
Cedar Brim Sombrero
Hand Wash gently, lay flat to dry.
*Store hats flat to maintain ideal shape.
*You can also clean hats with a specialized spray. (“Experts” advise against alcohol, but I have used occasional alcohol spraying to disinfect my personal hats for years). Why not be cool and clever and make your own spray.
